In a destroyed word, nature survives
Civilization has fallen, but the earth reclaims what was lost. Towering skyscrapers are now overgrown ruins, their steel frames entwined with ivy. Rivers carve new paths through shattered roads, and wildlife roams freely where people once ruled.

Izzie starts her journey as a lone survivor, tough and determined to keep moving forward. She’s resourceful, learning to adapt to the ruins around her while uncovering the past. As you play, you’ll learn more about her story, the people she meets, and the choices she must make to survive. Along the way, she’ll face challenges that test her beliefs and force her to decide how far she’s willing to go to find hope in a broken world.
Pip is a quick-thinking survivor who knows how to stay ahead in a broken world. She’s clever, tough, and not afraid to do what it takes to survive. As a recurring ally, she helps Izzie through danger sometimes for herself, sometimes out of loyalty. Along the way, she challenges Izzie’s views on trust, survival, and what it really means to keep going.
Ella is a relentless antagonist, driven by a need for control in a world turned upside down. She believes that only the strongest deserve to survive and will do whatever it takes to stay on top. As Izzie’s main obstacle, Ella forces her to confront hard truths and make difficult choices. Ruthless and cunning, Ella isn’t just an enemy she’s a reminder of what people can become when survival is all that matters.
No one knows how it started. The infected move like echoes of the past twisted, relentless, and hungry. Some are slow, others are fast, but all are driven by something deep and unknowable. They are not alive, yet they never stop.
